WCST's prevention program was highlighted on Immense Possibilities with Jeff Golden!

If you missed the episode, check it out here to hear our prevention team and a couple of the high school students who are members of the Youth Action Team speak about the prevention work WCST is doing in the local high schools.

1000 Men Campaign Starts Soon!

WCST, Mid Rogue Independent Physician Association Family of Companies (MRIPA), and First Call Resolution are partnering in a phone appeal, the 1000 Men Campaign, to support WCST and our fundraising efforts. This is designed to increase awareness and support of WCST and to encourage others to speak out about the devastating and life-threatening effects of domestic violence on women, children, families and our community. Our outreach would not be possible without your financial and in-kind support. This year, MRIPA will match the first $30,000 donated, doubling the impact of your gift!

WCST was nominated for an organization Peacemaker Award!

4/14/2014

WCST was nominated for a Peacemaker Award by a task force formed by the Unity Church of Grants Pass, to promote peace and nonviolence in conjunction with the 17th Annual Gandhi-King Season for Nonviolence. WCST was nominated because of "many intervention services, participation in community teams and committees, maintaining a safe house for the survivors of violence and supporting them during their life changes, and implementing primary violence prevention programs to reduce the incidence of violent acts before they occur."

Thanks to the Unity Church of Grants Pass and those who nominated WCST :) Check out the beautiful certificate we were presented with below:
